Rough water and your experiences

TR21, never questioned you were telling the truth. I believe it.

Your comment about buying a pros boat, I would agree from what I have seen in person and heard. Thats why I was curious if they in fact run any different than me or you. BUT dont worry about hurting their equipment like I and most people like me do.

mabr, I was taught to drive a bass boat by a hella bass's father. That man can still drive from what I hear. I don't think they are doing anything different than you or I except they have their butts in the seat 300 times a year versus our limited season that allows us to get on the water. I had the experience of fishing a number of opens with pros and they were all very good behind the wheel and it seemed that it was their ability to block everything else out and concentrate on what they were doing at the time. Wayne, the guy that taught me how to drive, had one initial rule- there were two speeds on a boat, stop and go. The pros boats have a lot of miles on them after one season but they do have them serviced all the time by factory reps at every tourney so are you getting a well used boat? yes but one that has had a lot of attention to it.
