It may not be totally appropriate to do this but I am desperate. First let me just say that I am an avid outdoorsman whose first love is fishing, camping or most any other outdoor activity. My dilemma is that I am in the position of leaving my company soon to find a better fit. I don't know how much longer I can hold on to my present job due to a change in ownership. I have over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting and real estate and I am hoping someone in this forum can contact me to aid in my search. Ultimately I would love to use my experience and my love of the outdoors together in my career. Are their any local boat or fishing gear manufacturers that I could contact? If any one has any suggestions on my current situation I would greatly appreciate it. I know from reading the many postings over the last year that the members of Fishing Minnesota have their priorites in the right place and hopefully can understand my predicament. Thanks for any suggestions you can give me.
We have bought a new boat, which we will be picking up this spring. It is an Alumacraft Competitor 165 sport with a 90 horse Yamaha
motor. I will be buying and installing a trolling motor, wondering if I can get some recommendations on what pound thrust I will
want for this boat? Also, I will be selling my old boat, is there a good way to determine the value on an older boat ( mid-80's with a 75 horse 2-stroke
Mariner motor) I will appreciate any help with these questions.
I went ahead and watched some of the MLF coverage. Wheeler didn’t make the cut but the bigger story was the Poche/Avera fallout.
Kinda funny listening to both sides of the story and putting together the scenario, reading between the lines.
