waterat Posted April 1, 2012 Share Posted April 1, 2012 What If anything can be done about willow tree roots? every year they crawl farther out of the ground!! mowing isnt an option anymore,have to whip everything by the tree.Can you haul in dirt and cover or should I just give In and cover with some kind of landscape stone?? any Ideas out there?? Spike76 Posted April 1, 2012 Share Posted April 1, 2012 I had big willows in front and back, and they are both gone. My sons and I dug out the roots, best thing we ever did. These were both about three feet in diameter. The gutters were always full also. Willows are always nicer in someone else's yard. Always hit the roots with the lawnmower also. Good luck.
