Muskies on Leech this weekend

I am heading up to Leech this weekend for on last weekend of Musky fishing. I have never fished Muskies this late in the season does any one have any tips or ideas of where to start looking for them? Right now I am planning to fish the big lake but that could change do to weather.

Any help would be great.

I am no Leech expert by any means but from my little experience casting the reeds in portage and around pelican island can still be very productive this time of year. Spinnerbaits work best. Try an orange one. There is also the rock piles around Pelican. Jerk baits and big bucktails.

Mr B- Just wondering if you had any luck up there.. I was up the same weekend.. I managed one 41" - but that was the only fish we saw all weekend... although the wind kept us from fishing much on Saturday. I was fishing Portage
