Tullibee spawning/location??

Hi Guys. I am looking for info on when and where tullibee spawn. What water temperature should I watch for? Also, where do they
spawn? I fish a lake with 3 small (barely noticable) creeks entering the lake, and one good sized river exiting the lake. Would I be
correct in assuming that the larger outlet would be a good place to look? The lake I fish is loaded with tullibee's. Last night I was outand was having a hard time locating any fish along the weed lines. The only fish I saw was the one I caught (FAT 40"). She was
extremely thick, which tells me they are really packing in the food. So where did the other fish go? Are they out off the weed and
into open water chasing the tullibee's? That would be my guess, but I don't know where to find the tullibees at!...Please Help!!

Hey RB,
Most likely the muskies are the same place the bait is. The ciscos start to gather in large schools in deep water adjacent to where they will spawn.

Large rocky points shorelines that fall sharply into the main basin are prime locations. They also like rocky current areas like channels between bays that have hard bottoms.

You should be able to locate the ciscos
on your electronics. Just checkout some of the areas that have what they need.
Look for them off of the sharpest drops
on the points, or the shoreline breaks.
