Metro Area Wildlife

Recommended Posts

We live in suburbs of Minneapolis adjacent to a creek that dumps into the Mississipi. As such, we get beavers, turkeys, deer, snapping turtles, hawks, owls and loads of song birds in the yard and area. Nice to have wildlife as neighbors and visitors!

I took the photo of the hawk as it sat in my neighbors front yard tree. The coyote was on the walking path behind our house. The leave was last fall and the blackbird last spring. Photographs taken with a Canon SX10is.

Welcome aboard. :>) My life with SX started with SX2IS then SX10IS, daughter has that. Then SX20IS, then SX30IS. Love them all. Just sold the SX20 to help pay for my first DSLR. The SX30S will probably never be sold. Fun camera.
