Screwed up supertopraider

I spent $23 on a supertopraider and it doens't work right. About every ten feet the whole thing flips over. I've seen a few others and they don't run like this.
Anyone seen this before? Both prop sections spin very freely when I spin them by hand. I'm thinking that maybe the shrink wrap on the back treble is catching on the back prop-section when the prop sections slide to the back on the retrieve. Then the back prop doesn't spin freely. The shrink wrap is tucked way up inside the back section so I'm not sure I can get it all out.
I tried to return it, but Scheels is out of them and Bucher reports being all out of them too.
Suggestions?

Scoot, I have a regular topraider that does the exact samething, no matter what speed my retrieve is this thing seems to flip/roll over on me. Talk sabout frustrating, i know these are good baits and i probably got a bad one, but the question is what does one do about it...
