Sanibel Island Charters

I am going to be staying Sanibel Island next month and was wondering if anyone has been out on any charter fishing boats there and had any recommendations. I have done some research online and it seems there are alot of options, but it would be helpful to have any advice on a charter to use or avoid from anyone who has actually used a charter there. Thanks in advance for any info.

Highly recommend Capt Rob Modys from SoulMate Charters. As a guide he's a pro, and as a guy to spend a day in the boat with, he's a blast.

Depending on where you're staying on Sanibel, make sure you take some time to fish off the beach too. I fish off the beach every morning for whatever (sea trout, ladyfish, mackerel, and snook depeding on when you're there) and for sharks in the evening when I'm there, and it can be a riot. Mornings, every time you set the hook it's something different. An evening's usually good for 3 - 5 sharks... Stop by the Bait Box right on the main drag on Sanibel and they'll get you going.
