6hp yamaha year and value?

I've got a 6hp Yamaha 2 stroke short shaft, I believe to be a 1995 motor? Can anyone confirm if that is correct or not? Here are some pics.

Anyone know the value of such a motor with new tank and hose? I was thinking $500ish, is that in the ballpark?

Yes, it's a 1995 Model... and I'd say your price is inline for as clean as it looks.

I have a friend who bought a 6 horse Yamaha new in 1993 to use as a kicker on Lake Superior. The motor has done a couple thousand hours of trolling and it is still running like new. If the motor has had ordinary care it is a solid performer.

I've been borrowing my dads motor exactly like that for my smaller boat. He's hinted he wants it back so I may be looking.
