I have a transom troller (Vantage) and bow-mounted troller on my boat, and I recently purchased a second HDS-7. I want to have the ability to take this 2nd depth finder to either the rear of the boat or the front of the boat, so I plan on making a portable case that will have a battery and a mount for the depth finder. I am looking for suggestions as to how I should wire the capability to plug this depth finder into either the front or rear of the boat. I have an LSS-1 that has a hub where I can plug this in, but would a t-connector allow me to run a cable to both the front and back, and then I could plug into either one when I need it? Also, any suggestions as to where to get the supplies to do this? Also, how heavy of a battery would I need for the portable case? Thanks.

We're usually fully stocked but you caught me on a bad night!
Tuesday night is usually "board meeting" night if you know what I mean. Stop in and have a tasty beverage some Tuesday night after these holidays are over and things get back to normal.
Im sure I will be back soon my kids go through the pork burgers pretty quick. Suzy knows who I am she can help ya. Cant ever turn down a nice cold Busch Light.
