Crow lake Ontario Muskie?

Anyone have any hint/tips for Crow lake in ontario? I will be staying at Crawfords Resort July 27-31. I have never been to the lake so don't know what to look for. Any tips would be appreciated. I ordered a lake map which should be here tomorrow so I can study that but nothing beats real life experience.

Can't help you much with Crow Lake but I can tell you it is a clear lake. Take advantage of any cloud cover and dusk fishing you can get. If it is raining or just cloudy you should be fishing hard.

The owner Mike is a Muskie Nut. He should be able to give you a lot of good info when you get there.

Thanks for the reply! I have been speaking with mike via e-mail and it sure sounds like he is a genuine muskie nut! Gald to hear it! I would love to hook into 1 or 2 while I am there but would be even happier if the wife could snag one!!! Then maybe she'll understand my compulsive behavior every muskie opener! By the way...any hinst for smallies and 'eyes' while we are there?
