West Battle Lake

Just moved to Fergus area. I am going to try for skis in West Battle on of these days. Anyone ever tried this lake? Any reports? Thanks

I have been there a few times. Each time it was hotter than heck and I didn't have any luck. I will be making it back over there one of these days. CD if you live in Fergus and plan on fishing muskies, you should go down to Fleet Farm and buy the Muskie Map book that they have in the 1st Muskie lure isle.(That is 1st as you come in the door) That book has West Battle and many other local muskie lakes, spots to try on each lake are marked in the book. Thanks, I have that book! It is helpful, but that lake is hard to fish. It's been so darn hot and sunny, these fish are hanging deep. I haven't had any luck so far on West Battle yet.

Don't feel bad....I never have any luck on the hot sunny days no matter what lake I am on. I am hoping for that cool front to come through that the weatherman talked about Sunday night.
