Chippewa Flowage Report

.....two of us put in 26 hours on the flowage,Sat. 6-15, 6-16 - 1st time to the flowage -...lost one 40+,it was the only hit and only follow, water 66 degrees; fished out of Lake Chippewa cmpgd - $27 per nite includes launch, and campsite was on the water - pretty nice place. Campground is near Herman's Landing (County Rd CC). Herman's Landing is clean and in a nice setting...there is virtually no development on the flowage - very scenic....highly recommend this big water....there were 10-12 fish posted on Herman's Musky Board (fairly low number), lots of 30's and the largest was 45 inches.....140 miles from St. Paul.
