Limits?

First off this is just out of curiosity. I cannot remember the last time I have kept a limit of fish. But I was thinking about this anyways. What would happen if say I had a limit of eyes in the freezer, along with 6-10 fillets of the store bought variety? Am I over my possession limit? Could I be in trouble? Kind of a stupid question, but still was wondering.

I'm not going to swear by this answer, however I would have to say no you would not be over your possession limit. The store bought fillets were not taken by you from a body of water. I would certainly keep them with the store packaging however. Here again unless the CO has probable cause to believe you are in violation there would be no access to your freezer, a search warrant based on that probable cause would be needed....The only other scenario would be a knock at your door and you consented to the search, here a search warrant would not be necessary. If the CO would show up with the warrant you would not have a decision regarding a search...

Jeff---tell her that store-bought is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! sick

Yeah, just never let her do the math, because store bought I'm guessing is around ten bucks a pound, and the way i'v got it figured the ones I catch are right around twenty five bucks a pound, but way more than worth it.
