I will be sorting lures and sharpening hooks for the next week, which is what I did all winter. I need to go fishing soon!

HEY BIG, I USE THE PLANO BOX F0R MY SPOONS AND HARE, AND THE MAXIMIZER (SOMETHING LIKE THAT) CHEST BOX FOR MY CRANKS,GLIDERS AND TOP WATER. THE MAXIMIZER (YOU CAN GET AT GALLIONS, REEDS, THORN BROTHERS) CAN HOLD JUST ABOUT ANY SIZE LURES.

I have a Flambeu "Chest Style" box, about the size of a Coleman cooler. It has the plastic dividers, and each hole is about 1 1/2 inch square. (maybe a little bigger)

I like the capacity of holding a ton of lures, but I don't like not being able to see my lures. I use the bucket setup, and then I have a bunch of the Plano Stowaway boxes, in my softside boxes, in the boat - so I can see my lures. In the big chest/cooler tackle box, I can only see the hair of a bucktail, not the spinner size or color, and with my cranks and jerks, I can only see the back end. I sort through my Chest of lures and take what I want for the day, and put them in the bucket and clear stowaway boxes, so I can see all my lures when I am on the water.

This seems to work for me.

GO SOME OF MY BAITS WET LAST WEEKEND IN WISCONSIN. BOATED A 31 INCHER LESS THEN 2 HRS INTO THE DAY AND SEEN MANY FISH ON THE DAY.

5 MORE DAYS TO GO FOR MN OPENER.
WITCH WI BE THE LOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGEST 5 DAYS OF THE SPRING.

....sovhat happened?? Fished Island Lake near Sturgeon Lake on Sunday - and it was
unremarkable.....perch reef hawgs - 6"...

I HAD TO WORK OPENING WEEKEND BUT GOT TO GET OUT THIS MORNING. TOUGH AT ALL DAY, CRAPPIE WEATHER. WAS PACKING UP TO HEAD TO WORK AT 1PM AND SAW A SPLASH BY A DOCK SO I GRABBED A SPINNING COMBO WITH A PLASTIC WORM AND STARTED TO PICH IT UNDER THE DOCK IN HOPES OF BOATING AT LEAST ONE FISH BEFORE I WENT HOME. IT TURNED OUT TO BE A 48 INCH MUSKY WITCH WRAPED AROUND THE DOCK AND GAVE ME ONE HELL OF A FIGHT. SPINNING COMBO, 6 LB TEST, BASS WORM, 20 MIN FIGHT AND SHE WAS IN THE BOAT WITH NO NET. 7 HRS INTO MY SEASON, WHAT A WAY TO START.
