I have 1x2's to finish the trim, just been too busy/lazy to get it done. Plus I don't know if this is just a woman thing, but I keep changing my mind about things I want to add. grin I do like the rod holder I picked up for 6 bucks and plan on getting another. A lot of it is a matter of using it a couple of times and seeing what works and what doesn't. I would love more of the 15 x 30" cabinets like the one above the furnace, but there isn't room for them. I have stayed at Portavilla's on Red several times and love the way he lays out his houses. The windows are lower and wider and he has cabinets above them all along one wall. They provide lots of storage andit is great to get things up and off the floor. If I were building mine from scratch it would have been just like his, the beds are comfy but a little pricey:
