winchester sx3 cantilever slug gun

Recommended Posts

I'm in the market for a new deer gun for next year. I saw that winchester has this gun. Anybody used it before? What did you like and dislike about it? Should i look at something else? I have never owned a winchester gun, but have been around a few people who do and they like their guns.

I have no experience with that gun. I have a 12 guage Remington 1100 with a rifled barrel and cantilever scope mount. I have shot as well as one hole groups out to a hundred yards with Remington Premier copper solids but always keeps them in at least a two inch group. It still holds three inches at 150 and I have not tried any farther.

I also have a 20 guage 870 same set up with a shorter barrel that will do two inch groups at 50 with the same ammo. I have not shot it any farther than that as it is my daughters gun.

I am sure there are many out there that will match or beat this but I am happy with mine and never had a problem.
