Fenwick Elite Tech Ice Rod

I was wondering if anyone has used any of these rods, or even held one. I don't have access to any at this time and I was thinking about ordering one. I am a big fan of their summer rods, my main concern is if the reel seat and handle is to big for the rod. Please feel free to give me your input. Thanks

Too funny I was looking at the exact same rods online tonight wondering the same thing. Sorry can't help ya, just thought it was a funny coincidence!

I've seen them in the stores but never used one. They felt nice and I think I remember reading someone post that the handles get sticky when they get wet. Not sure whether I'd like that or not. I think the earlier post was about a month ago if you want to try looking for it.

I purchased one at the ice show, but have not used it on the ice yet. It felt very good in my hand at the show. Once the reel was on, it felt a bit odd at first. But after holding it a bit, it seems natural to me. Also, it seems very sensitive. In fact, I believe my medium Fenwick feels more sensitive than my medium light Jason Mitchell.

i was also curious about them when they first came out, was going to wait and see what people thought of them, then was at fleet and farm in alex last night and saw they were on sale for 18.99 and coulnt resist, i guess i needed to get myself a xmas present.

we got them in at work for 21 bucks so I snatched one up and I love it. The rod is very sensative. One thing to watch out for if you get one is, dont crank your reel in to tight we had one returned with a broken seat. It looks like it was operator error though. I would recommend the rod to anyone.
