Early ice wheel house tip.

Make a wheel or ski that can quickly clamp on to the tounge of a wheel house for early ice. I used a wheel so I could push it around the yard,but if I make one again I will mount a 2" ball directly to a ski and connect the rope to the end of the ski. This allows me to pull the house freely with a wheeler or snowmobile with a long lead rope to spread the weight out more. On ice with little snow you just hold on to the rope it pulls that easy. I still only go out on ice I feel cofortable with but it makes me feel more comfortable having the option of letting go of the rope and getting away quicker. If anyone else has tips I'd like to hear them.
