Marine radio in wheelhouse?

Is there any benefit to having a marine radio in the wheel house? I've seen houses with a marine radio and a CB radio in them. I was just curious if any of you have them and what benefit it may have.

Let's see, benefits, listening to unreliable weather forecasts oh, and don't forget the always informative never ending babble by a bunch of bored chatterboxes, most of whom have no regard for or knowledge of VHF rules. On second thought, no benefit whatsoever, just another battery drain.

Technically, it is not legal to use the marine bands in a structure unless you have a marine band base station license. Your fish house would not be a "vessel" even though you are on frozen water. The FCC will periodically monitor for these violations.
