I assume most everyone has wrapped up their open water catfish angling for the year, so I'm hoping to collect any catfish diaries that may have been kept this year. I'm wondering what the best avenue is to collect them. I don't think we will have it in the budget to mail out postage paid envelopes, especially since we wouldn't be getting 100% returns on them. So here are some options and I would like to know what the preferred method would be for those of you that kept diaries this year.

Mail them in at your own cost.

Hand them in at a bait shop or sporting goods store (assuming we can get cooperators to collect them and have a secure drop box).

Hand them in at a meeting where I can give an update on the catfish tagging project. Are there preferred locations, dates, or times?

Other ideas?
