Wheel house build ???????

We are in the process of building our first wheel house. Here is my question for the guys who have done it. Do I need to put plywood behind my siding. I think we are going to use .040 aluminum sheet. The frame is 2x4 16 inches on center. What have you done?

Mine is just siding on the outside. It was rapped in polly before it was sided but i had to remove it so the spray foam would stick.

You can but no reason too. By Bro-in-law and i have made about 10 fish houses over the bast 20 years. We stud ours, use styrofoam insulation and aluminum. You can add the plywood but you are just adding weight you do not need. As long as it is sturdy enough without it, you will be fine.
