Wiring a fish house.

So I picked up an old 5x8 skid house that is wired for a generator. There is just a cord hanging out of the side of the house that plugs into an extension cord. I'm assuming it's 110v then? Seeing as though I don't own a generator, I want to rig it to run off of a deep cycle marine battery. The house already has two light fixtures and an outlet for plugging in anything you want. I guess I'm asking if there is a converter/inverter/something easy I could connect to my battery and then to the existing system? If not how would one rig up a house to run off of a marine battery? Google has been less than helpful. Really, all I need are lights, but a computer fan or two and an outlet to charge stuff would be nice. I'm putting a bunk in, so I'd like to have an on/off/dimmer switch. Does this mean I should run fuses? Any suggestions, diagrams, help would be appreciated. As you can tell, I have no idea what I'm talking about here blush

i had to do this last year after some one walked away with my genny. i took a extension cord and cut off the female end and put two crimp-able eye hooks on the end. went to menards and got a couple 12 volt lights and then just back fed it threw the outlet. worked like a charm the only thing is you must tell anybody that use the house that they must take the 12 volt lights out and replace them with normal lights if they use a genny.
