Rod Building Class

Just an FYI, I received a notice from Kris at Lake Lady Rods that he's holding a rod building class at the Brainerd GMountain starting Friday evening Dec 16th, all day Saturday and ending Sunday morning. I took the class last March and have been hooked ever since. If you or anyone you know is looking to get into rod building I'd highly recommend taking the class from Kris.

I have taken one of Kris's classes and he is a standup classy guy who knows his stuff. Hes a certified Rod Guild member.

How much is this class? and do you know where i can find out more information about it?

And do any of you know of a cheap hotel in Baxter you could recommend if I decide to come up?

I don't know if I can post a HSOforum, but if you search lake lady rods you'll find Kris. Give him a call, he'll tell you all about the class. I'm not sure on hotels tho. There's a few right close to GM tho. I know the days inn in nisswa is really cost effective, but that's maybe 8 miles north. probably better to spend a couple more bucks and stay closer to GM and the restaurants.
