Auger Case

I'm in the market for a new case for my old auger. I walk out about 50% of the time and drive a pickup out the other 50%. I have a two man otter flip over. Any suggestions on auger cases? I'd like to be able to throw it in the sled, but that seems to get real heavy to pull out by hand. I had a soft sided zipper style and and found that wet augers, freezing weather and zippers don't get along too well.

Otter makes a one, leaves the auger head exposed but covers the entire auger shaft, costs about 50 bucks give or take and it has a carry handle on it. The way I see it is A) spend the 50 bucks or so for the case and carry it out which gets heavy after a while B) throw it on your shoulder and walk it out, granted its still heavy, and spend the 50 on other stuff; or C) throw it in the sled and pull it out which seems less heavy but in reality it isnt. So its a lose/kinda win situation depending on which route you go. Just my 2cents.
