Swan lake by nicollet ?????

Does anyone have any reports from this area, never hear anything about the big duck sanctuary anymore, has that died off also? drove by there tues morning and there was 12 trucks with trailors????

Not the factory it used to be, tons of hunting pressure to many places you cant get to... just think that was a tues you drove by, drive by on a weekend day 3 times that many at most landings. I hunt near there sometimes and I hear voleeys in the early parts of the morning and thats about it.

Tons of hunting pressure on that swamp and surrounding areas. Has really died off the last few years compared to the amount of ducks we use to see down there. There are also some good articles about the use of mud motors on swan lake in the outdoors news. Could that be a contributing factor? To each there own but I think it may have a lot to do w the ducks sticking around the area as mud motors have grown popularity and half that lake is a refuge....
