Has anyone seen the video(on another site) where they had a fish house frame and it was raised and lowered by airbags. Or does anyone have any input if they have tried this application. I think its a pretty sweet idea. Feel free to give your opinions on the pros and cons about this idea. Im thinking the next wheelhouse I own, I might give this a shot.

I like the idea...........Anything is better than cranking a shack up by hand!

The only downside would be airlines/compressor getting iced up from condensation; but this is an easy fix (Tanner Gas).

Now I gotta find that video smile

I found an old thread related to the topic.

Also read about a guy that uses compressed nitrogen to eliminate ice up.

Many commercial vehicles utilize compressed air for their suspension, so the parts are available!!

Sumstead Welding in Hackensack Minnesota built shacks that sat on air bags. Pretty cool as the house rode like a Caddi, set down with the turn off a valve and had an on board 12v compressor to lift it back up. I know he went through great lengths by installing an air dryer in line after the compressor to take care of the icing problem.

Sadly I think the old boy fell to the economy.
