well...just strung up a rod w/ some new 10 lb. Berkley nanofil on a new Tica Cetus reel tied on a knot for a slip/clip on ice bobber and tied on a swivel snap and onto that a glow pink and gold 'stop sign' jig...

and I say to you..."Bring On The I C E....!!!!"

Word to that, if I were to get my ice rods out now I'd go crazy. But I still have to give the river a workout.

I've got a bad case of ice ivy. Itch is so bad it's hard to focus on every day living.

I've had the porty sitting in my garage for over a month now. Occasionally I sit down in there and fire up the heater and visualize an ice hole between my feet. Instead of air guitar it's air fishing, where I hold the invisible ice rod in my hand and jig for the invisible crappies below while staring at my invisible flasher screen.

Then the wife pops her head out in the garage and asks what in the he!! I'm doing...."Nothing Honey!", as I quickly shut the valve off to the sunflower and head back into the house.

I've had it since that frosty morning we had back in September! I got the Clam set up many times already and just sat there pretending the cement floor was the ice. The first time I went out last year was December 5 so hopefully things turn out the same way!
