House windows in a wheelhouse?

I mounted mine up high on the wall thinking that theives would have a hard time breaking it and crawling in that way. I would like to have them lower so you could see outside while sitting for when you have tip ups out. I put vinyl house windows from home depot in mine and have not had any issues with moisture. Also installed blinds so theives could not look in and see what you have inside when your not around.

Sit down on a bucket, chair, or the bunk and you should be put the middle of the window at your eye level. If you're mounting it above the backrest of a bunk make sure it doesn't get covered by a cushion. If you're putting bunks above the window, make sure you have enough clearance for your top bunk. Or at least clearance for a future bunk.
