Just got my hands on the DNR info and pics from the 2nd (weekend) hunt. Not a ton of deer harvested, but a few dandy bucks! Soon as I can get the pics saved I will try and upload them for everyone to see. Here is the data:

2,500 Permits Issued: 2,420 residents (97%); 80 non-residents (3%)

Bag Limit = 2, Bonus Permits Allowed

2,206 hunters participating (88% of those drawn; 2,162 participated last year)

Total deer harvested: 135 (6% success), 3% below the long-term average of 9%

131 residents & 2 nonresidents harvested deer

Number of hunters taking 2 deer: 2 (6 last year)

57% Antlerless, 43% Bucks (last year ~ 33.1% bucks; historically ~ 47% over all 4 days)
