Modine- Hot Dawg heater in garage

Question

My fan no longer runs. Replaced circuit boared and the small starter??? The little thing below the fan, oblong thing with 8 terminals and only two are used. Forgot the name. Any way, anyone have any ideas what's wrong, or know of someone who works on them in Champlin area. As always thanking you in advance for the vast array of knowledge on this site.

Have you tested to see if the fan is getting power? If it is, the brushes or bearings could be shot. Otherwise there could be a bad connection somewhere in the wiring if you are getting power from the output on the controller and nothing at the fan.

Always check the simple things first before throwing expensive parts at it.

Do you know if it is 110 VAC going to the fan? I will check that tonight. The reason i bought the boared ( 100.00 ) is that is what the trouble shooting guide had said. Thanks for the reply

Good morning CAMAN, thanks for the wiring diagram. I checked power comimg out of the circuit board that goes to the exhaust fan and had 118 VAC. Long story short, I found out it was the time delay relay. Replaced and she works like a champ. Thank you for your assistance. This site is an amazing wealth of knowledge.
