Lowrance help Gps not showing roads

I just bought a Lowrance Elite 5m chartplotter Gps. I have a lakemaster ProMap version 7 map chip. I also have version 2.8 downloaded on the gps.

So here is the problem- On the map zoomed on close to my town I does not show the town roads. I have it in advanced mode and tried every setting in it. If I try the map chip in a diffrent unit it shows all of the roads and detail so it has to be the gps. I am going to try to call lowerance but good luck, if no answer I might have so send it back for another one. Hopefully some experts here can help or give me a call. 320-290-9556 thanks Tom

Do the lake details show up? You may have to go into the options and select the Lakemaster card for it to run. I'm unsure where to go with your particular unit though. But I remember having to do that with my old Lowrance.

Yes, I have all lake maps but no roads.

Well sence no one has had any issues like this I mailed it to lowrance for a new one.
