Crusty old Swede
My experiance with the boil'em at home foam decoys was the solvents in spray paint ate the foam. Straight from the can oil paint (no thinner added) like Parkers brand decoy paints will be ok per their instruction sheet - test first! I just got done painting my decoys with Parkers (plastic decoys, not foam)and the some of the colors straight from the can were not realistic. For example the drake gray needed some white to lighten it up, the green needed black to darken and the drake breast was dark brown it needed a touch of red primer to look right.
