Painting the inside of an Ice Castle

Anyone painted the inside of their Ice Castle or house with similar style walls? I'm looking into doing mine and I'm concerned that the paint will not stick properly with the contrasts in heat and moisture. Hints and suggestions please. Thanks.

1. Scuff sand the surfaces you intend to pain.

2. Wipe all surfaces clean.

3. Apply a quality OIL based primer.

4. You can then apply the top coat with latex. However, I would use oil based paint.

I worked for a painting contractor for many years. The oil primer will keep other oils, resins and liquids from penetrating. As for the top coat, oil based paint will stand up better to the demands of a fish house, in my opinion. 2c
