Trail Camera Issues

Trytti

Question

I have a Wildgame Innovations IR#4 trail camera. I just bought it last fall and it worked fine and the pics were very good. Put it out this year and it went dead. Thought it was just the batteries and went and bought new batteries for it and it will not power up at all and the display is blank. Had a buddy look at it and said inside everything looks good on the boards and can't figure out what is wrong. There is no corrosion or signs that moisture got in it. Has anyone else had a similiar type issue? I bought another one before I realilzed the issue was more than just the batteries and kind of wondering if I should just spend a little more and upgrade on the next one.

Thanks

I run 20'some cameras for bear hunting and lost eight of them right off the bat this year. Actually sounds very familiar to my deal. The company I purchased them from told me they must have had hard froze (-30 or more) and "got messed up". That was the official answer I got from the camera company. I stored them in a unheated shed last winter and won’t be doing that again.

Trytti,

Let me know if you figure out a way to get these working, I had both of mine, same model as you, do that this year. Tried new batteries and resetting, nothing worked. Little parts of the display come up, but doeasn't take any pics. Both purchased last fall also. But were kept in house all winter.
