Not quite a photo

I captured an interseting phenomina the other night, that I thought you all would be interested in. I know there is a video forum, but I think it is more interesting to the photographers n here. The audio is just background noise so don't turn your speakers up too loud. Enjoy!

Given the title, was there St. Elmo's fire that I missed, or some other phenomenon?

Actually, that was all St. Elmo's fire jumping across our windscreen 3 feet in frint of our faces that is why it appears from all directions. In flight it actually has a greenish tint to it, but the lighting conditions are difficult to say the least. It is a pretty cool event I actually only see it a few times a year, this time I remembered to grab my camera.
