I only fish this lake 2-3 weekends per summer and then, only in the morning and evenings. So I don't get much time on the water but I've had some success in the past. Now, for whatever reason, I cannot find a muskie out there to save my life. I don't think I've even seen one the past two summers. The deep weed beds I used to fish are non-existent and the rock spots aren't producing anything. I have 4-5 spots out there where I've caught and/or seen fish but I'm just getting nothing off of them.

This past weekend I went back to the drawing board and started exploring the entire shoreline, trying to find some deeper weeds. I didn't find much, one really sparse weed bed in 10-14 ft and that was it.

I guess I'm just wondering if other people are struggling too or if I'm just losing it.....

I've really only found 2 decent weedbeds out there and fish do hold to them (especially the hammerhandles). You could also try trolling the cribs. On all the area lakes there's been a lot of baitfish located high in the water column over deep water. You don't necessarily need to troll all that deep. I've had hits on baits running 5 feet down in 20 feet of water. Run a few cranks anywhere from 5 to 15 feet down and cross your fingers.
