Ranger 690c adding second console

Looking at buying a '93 Ranger 690c. Everything really seems on the up and up for this boat and I'm going to look at it this weekend. My only hang up is that it is a single console. I called Ranger to see if adding a second would be possible. Unfortunatley only the receptionist was in as they close for the week of the 4th. I asked her and she thought it would be possible, but admitted she wasn't the expert.

possible? Yes

Expensive? Probably

Gonna take forever to find a matching component would be my biggest concern, I'm sure they aren't turning out the piece you are looking for anymore, and that leaves salvage yards, oh the thought of that, yuck...

I fish out of a 690 single console frequently and as for the layout of the boat with a single console you might be doing yourself a dis-service adding it. IMHO

Love the 690's though probably my all around favorite fishing boat. When my upgrade time comes around and I can find one in cherry condition I'll buy it.

Just a heads up, I bought a second counsel for my creastliner fishhawk and it was $700.00. So I would suspect that a Ranger counsel would be a lot more. But it is only money grin
