Metro Walleye Opener Tactics?

I Thought I would start a discussion about tactics for the opener. What are your favorite tactics/ locations for fishing the opener on the more weed/milfoil oriented metro lakes? Pitching jigs on the weedline, trolling cranks across flats after dark, slip floats etc?

Im dont live in the metro area, I live on good 'ol Lake of the Woods, but my opener tactics are casting crankbaits in the shallows near weedlines. If that fails I'll switch to a spinner and troll. Hopefully by the time Im done with that I'll have a stringer full of walleyes.
