We are planning on camping at Big Sandy Dam mid June and I had picked out a tent site, that said the dock is 20' from our campsite, I was looking at the sattelite images and now see that the dock is on the Sandy River side of the strip of land we are camping on, how big and how much current is in this river? Does anyone know? Rivers have always scared me, especially with the boys along. and is it deep enough to accomodate our boat? We have an old 16' 77 Crestliner aluminum, one of those old green boats.
