anyone out there using Gramin locaters that can give me some insider info on? have had such great luck with garmin warrinty that i would like to stay with them.thinking of a model i can put sd card in or lake maps. Thanks

Garmin makes outstanding sonar/GPS units.

Depending on your budget, the 430s is good, and the 536s is a great unit with a superior display and processor speed. You will never need to wait for a map to redraw with these units, very fast, very accurate.

The new 720s would be my pick if I wished a larger unit in the premium performance range, and also the 5212s. One amazing unit the 5212...we use one...an awesome unit.
