Fishing after storms

Just curious, anyone have anything against fishing the day after storms, like the ones we had go throught the twin cities last night and today? What about the wind's effect? I was suppose to go fishing with my grandpa tomorrow, he said because of the storms and wind fishing would be bad tomorrow, if you could only see my rolling eyes... I'm going tomorrow without him... atleast this way I can hit P4.
