Competition or League for Pistols

So since I cant stop watching Top Shot on History it has gave me the itch to do some of this. Does anyone know of any Competitions or Leagues for pistols. I shoot a 9mm and would like to do more than just take it to the range. I have seen a few comps on the internet but all were .22 pistols only.

is am in south central MN and just looking for anything really where i can use my 9. weather it be leaague or a comp. Maybe not so much a tatical comp.

The above listed search will provide a calendar and listing of all USPSA clubs in MN. South central clubs would be near Pine Island and Faraibault. Oakdale for south metro and many more.

Good luck once I started my fishing time suffered as I shoot about 35-40 matches a summer.

The first spring match for MAPSA at Fairbault tomorrow.

There is a match Saturday at the minnetonka game and fish range near Elk River. New shooters are always welcome. Shooting starts at 10 am, see ya there.

MRRA.org will have an extensive list of NRA sanctioned pistol, rifle, sihouette, etc. matches in the MN area. You can also follow the club links to many other informal matches in your area. Monticello Rod and Gun club has weekly pistol league "action style" and monthly matches.

Rainbow sportsman's club has a weekly rifle/pistol combat action league near Cokato. Those are the 2 I know of offhand.
