Smoker Craft Big Fisherman 16ft, is a 20hp 4stroke big enough?

Hi to all! Need help, I have a 16ft Smoker Craft Big Fisherman. Now have a 25hp Evinrude 2 stroke. Can run 28mph with one person and gear and 22mph with 2 persons and gear. Want to go to a 4stroke. To save weight I am looking at a 20hp 4stroke yamaha at 130lbs as oppossed to a 25hp 4stroke at 180lbs. The comments are all over the place, some say the 20hp 4stroke is too small and others say OK as the boat is only 420lbs dry weight and I am not overloading. Help, anyone out there with a 420lb boat with a 20hp 4stroke? Too bad that we cannot buy a new 25hp 2stroke!! Sucks!
