Buying ATV from private party

Looking to buy my first ATV from a private party. What do I need as far as registration/title/bill of sale?

i found a form online when i bought mine. but i think all you really need is the atv reg card. then go to the dmv and change it into your name.

DMV required a bill of sale before they would transfer registration when I bought mine.

Now that you say that...I do remember them taking a copy of mine as well. so get a bill of sale too.

Thanks, all they required was the registration card. I had a bill of sale to be save but was told only the card was necassary. Pretty simple.
