Frabill Predator vs Guardian?

Many thanks to everyone who helped with the Predator vs Guardian decision. If I had actually took the time to set the Guardian up we would have never had to have this discussion. After hearing everyone’s input I decided to go with the R2-Tec. Well I have not fished in it yet but I can tell just from sitting in my garage that this stuff is sweet. Pretty sure the only time the trekker will be getting out is early and late ice. Now watch it will probably go and warm up on us now. Oh well then I won’t have to run the heater at all. Thanks again everyone.

A tip is on the 7/8 tubing, take the time to de-burr the inside and the outside of the tubing on the support frame.

A rat tail file or a battery terminal cleaner makes quick work of it and you will never regret it. This makes the set-up and tear down smoother and no binding will be exhibited. It's a simple thing, yet it makes everything easier.

Good choice too, that is a nice well balanced shack and as warm as they come. grin

I think you will see some deals on the Frabill Predator R2 Tech's starting this weekend, so you may wish to price check on them.

Sounds like you might be "plugged in" to some deals...maybe? smile Any suggestions on where one might see these "deals". laugh
