My first wing shot

Sitting in my recliner a couple days ago and wham, a bird hits the big window. I go to look to see if it's alive and all I see is the tail feathers and feet in the hole it made when it landed about 2 feet out from the house. Looks like a house finch. I glance at the feeders and there is a sparrow hawk or some kind of hawk on the metal arch above the feeders. It swoops down and grabs the bird and takes off. Too bad for the bird but that was cool to see! Just one wing. When the sun got around more there was a very small spot where the other wing touched the snow.
