The wiper arm came off of the motor and in order to access it I need to take the wiper arm off.

I took the nut off but I can not get the arm itself off, Is there something else holding it on??

It looks like it should just slide up and off of the bolt.

Thx,

Mike

Push and pull on the arm part that is still attached to the post. It is a tapered post much like a ball joint. Rocking the arm up and down will usually get it to pop. Other wise a battery terminal puller or another small simular puller will be needed.

Don't beat on it with a hammer, I would use a small pulley puller or like said above rock the arm.

The fact that the nut came off from the motor might mean you might have a bad linkage. Happened to me before. Manually move your wipers is one significantly harder than the other???? If so one might be seized and what caused the motor to take the nut off the bold connecting the linkage to the motor.
