Looks like a great boat for what you want to do. I have a cousin who has one and its great for the way you want to use it. The 4.3 is a strong motor. You should be able to get a descent deal on boats with the carbed 4.3 since they wont be made anymore after this year. Everything will be fuel injected which will add to the price tag next year.
