4 stroke tune up

I have a 2003 Mercury 115 4 stroke. Motor runs and starts fine.

I have done all of the maintenance myself to the motor. I was wondering if bringing to a dealer for a tuneup is necessary? I hate to bring it in for a tuenup if they are just going to check the things I do myself.

Looking at the owners manual the only thing I have not done is check and adjust the valves which Mercury states should be done at 400 hours. I am guessing I have over that many hours on motor.

You might want to check the replacement time frame for the timingbelt. I have a 2002 115 yamaha and have changed the sparkplugs twice and had the timing belt replaced once. Yamaha recommends changing the timing belt at 5 years, also the fuel filter may be a good idea to change. I would think Merc 4st would be similar.
